Y-DNA haplogroup T (M70)
T is a Y-chromosomal haplogroup, called K2 from 2002 to 2008. The defining DNA marker is the SNP M70. And SNPs M184, M193, M272 are believed to be phylogenetically equivalent.
Origin
Haplogroup T is tentatively associated with such ancient peoples as the Sumerians, Elamites, and Phoenicians.

Ethno-geographic distribution
It is rare. It was found among the Fulbe (18%), Somalis (10.4%), Omanis (8.3%), Egyptians (8.2%), Iraqis (7.2%).
From other regions, southern India (5.9%), UAE (4.9%), Ethiopia (4.8%), Lebanon (4.7%), Iraqw of Tanzania (4.7%), eastern India (3.8%), southern Iran (3.4%), Turkey (2.5%), and the Iberian Peninsula (2.5%) should be noted. T is found in 3.9% of Italians, among Jews — in 3% of Sephardim and 2% of Ashkenazim.
Among Russians from southwestern Russia, it was found in 1.7% of people, including residents of the cities of Roslavl, Livny, Pristen, Repyovka, Belgorod, and Kuban Cossacks from Adygea. But it was not found in anyone from the northern European part of Russia.
